What’s in each month
Your periods, with dates
The mahādaśā and antardaśā you are in, read for your chart, and every pratyantar period that touches the month with the day it begins and ends. These are the slow themes, and they are entirely your own: no one born on a different day shares them.
Transits from your Moon
Gochara is how the tradition reads transits — counted from your Moon sign. Each planet’s position, whether it is classically favourable for you, how many Ashtakavarga points it has in that sign in your chart, and the exact day this month it changes sign or turns retrograde. Plus Saturn’s position from your Moon, so you always know where you stand with Sade Sati.
A calendar of your days
Every day of the month, rated for beginnings by the two classical measures astrologers use to pick a day for a person: tārā bala, counted from your birth nakshatra, and chandra bala, counted from your Moon sign. With the day’s nakshatra and tithi, Rahu kalam for your city, Ekadashis, the full and new moon, Sankranti and the day your birth star returns.
Next month, too
You can always open the month ahead, so the calendar is useful for planning, not only for looking back.
What it is not
It is not a sun-sign horoscope, and it is not a prediction. It will never tell you a day is dangerous, never suggest a gemstone or a pooja, and never upsell you a consultation. It describes the tendencies the tradition reads in your periods and transits, and tells you which days it considers best for starting things — which you can use or ignore.
Common questions
What do I get each month?
On the 1st, a new outlook built from your own chart: the planetary periods running that month with the exact dates they change; each planet's position counted from your Moon, with the day it changes sign or turns retrograde and how many Ashtakavarga points it has there for you; Saturn's position relative to your Moon (Sade Sati and Dhaiya); and a calendar of every day of the month rated for beginnings by tara bala and chandra bala, with Rahu kalam, Ekadashis, the full and new moon and the day your birth star returns. You can also see the next month ahead.
How is this different from a sun-sign or moon-sign horoscope?
A sign horoscope is written for one twelfth of everyone. This is computed from your own birth moment. Your dasha periods are yours alone, and the day calendar counts from your own birth nakshatra — two people with the same moon sign get different good days.
Do you store my birth details?
No. As with every tool on this site, your month is computed in your browser from details that never leave it. The subscription only knows your email address and that you are subscribed.
How do renewals and cancelling work?
It renews monthly until you cancel. Indian cards renew under the RBI e-mandate rules: you approve the mandate once at checkout, and you get a notice before every renewal saying how much will be charged. You can cancel at any time from the link at the bottom of your outlook; it stays open until the end of the month you have paid for, and there is nothing else to cancel.
Is there a free trial?
The free part is generous instead: anyone can open the outlook and see their current period, how many good days the month has for them, and where Saturn stands from their Moon. The sample shows a whole month in full.
Is a monthly outlook a prediction?
No. It describes the tendencies the tradition associates with your periods and transits, and the days the tradition considers well suited to you for starting things. It does not predict events, and it never suggests a remedy — we have none to sell.
